By far my least favorite of the three books, it, in my opinion, was also the most disturbing of the three main books. This book dwindled down the number of characters severely. The Teresa plot was downright confusing, and I hated her character until the end of the series. I know that the Teresa plot was to save Thomas, but it changed her character for everyone, until the end of the series. At the start, one character barely escapes death, alright he's safe I thought, then a chapter later he gets struck by lightning and Dashner had the great idea to start describing the gore. I will not be reading this book again.
